Free Organizing Printables: A New Year Advent Calendar
The Admin Arcade advent calendar is a free set of organizing printables and small tools, one behind each of 24 doors from December 1 to 24. Each door opens at midnight on your own clock. Inside are trackers, year-end paperwork sheets, calendars for 2027 and a spinner game, so January can start with a binder that’s ready to go. It needs no account and no email.
Why I made an advent calendar of organizing printables
At the beginning of every year, it’s a new time for me to try to get my sh*t together. I start a new planner that kicks it all off, and then it’s a good time to clean out my filing cabinet and start all new files. If you’re starting fresh files too, the home filing system printable lays out what goes in each folder.
This year I want a binder, so I can put the printables in it and plug some holes. There are some things I don’t track right now that I should.
The more printables and things to help organize me, the better. Even if they don’t stick, at least they kick me off for a good start. And if another routine happens after that, that’s fine.
What’s behind the 24 doors?
I’m not naming doors or their days. Across the 24 you’ll find:
- Trackers for the small stuff I forget about
- Year-end money and paperwork sheets, each marked not financial or legal advice
- Calendars for 2027 to fill in before January
- Labels for starting fresh files
- A spinner game
- Three one-day codes for apps I built
The one I’m most excited about helps with gift cards, because I’ve forgotten about lots of gift cards. Back in the day I used to let them expire, and that’s awful.
If you’d like to start on next year’s bills before the calendar opens, the annual bills planner is up now.
And if holiday gifts are the pile you’re behind on, the free holiday gift planner splits one budget and gives every gift you ship an order-by date. Cards running behind too? The printable Christmas card list counts back from the USPS Dec. 17 mail-by date.

How the small tools work offline
I also like the tools I built for this, because they can be bookmarked and it feels like you’re using a website, but you’re not really online. Each one downloads as a single file and opens in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How does the free advent calendar work?
- One door opens each day from December 1 to 24, at midnight where you live.
- Missed a day? Earlier doors stay open, so you can catch up.
- You don’t need an account or an email to open a door.
- Printables download as PDFs you can print at home.
- Each open door has a share button, so you can send a friend straight to it.
- The three app codes only work on the day their door opens.
Get a reminder when door 1 opens
Under the stocking on the calendar there’s a box called “Don’t miss a door.” Leave your email there and confirm it from the first email you get. Then you’ll get one email on December 1 when the calendar opens. You can also check the box for a short email each morning when a new door opens. If you’d rather skip email, the buttons under the doors add a daily reminder to Apple, Outlook or Google Calendar.
You never need an email to open a door. Still, if you sign up for the reminder or check the box for the Admin Arcade newsletter, it would help me out a lot.
My other three blogs have advent calendars too. Jen Tried It has a free digital advent calendar with holiday printables and party games, Seeding Serendipity has a gentler advent calendar for adults for the new year, and jen8n has a builder advent calendar with free Claude Code skills. If you’d like to make one of your own, I wrote up how I built these advent calendars on jen8n.
Advent calendar questions
When does the Admin Arcade advent calendar open?
It opens December 1, 2026. Door 1 opens at midnight your time, and one more door opens each day through December 24.
Are the organizing printables free?
Yes. Every door is free to open, with no account and no email needed. The three app codes are discounts on paid plans, and using them is up to you.
Can I put the printables in a binder?
Yes. The printables download as PDFs you print at home, so you can hole-punch them and add them to a binder. That’s what I’m doing with mine this year.
What if I miss a day?
You can catch up any time. Once a door opens it stays open, so nothing is lost if you skip a few days.
Do the small tools need the internet?
Not after you download them. Each tool is a single file that opens in your browser, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
Bookmark this page or set the reminder, and open door 1 on December 1.
